Lohan denied entry to meet Coldplay

London: Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly “threw a fit” when she was refused a backstage pass at a Coldplay concert recently. The 25-year-old star was given prime seats for the show from the group’s front-man Christ Martin but after the gig in Los Angeles on Wednesday she wasn’t allowed to hang out with the band, reported Sun online. “When Lindsay was told she wasn’t allowed backstage because her pass didn’t allow it, she threw a complete fit. She protested to the people running the guest list, hoping they’d change their minds but it was still a firm ‘no’. “She got even more angry when she found out fellow actress Kate Bosworth was there mingling with Chris’ wife Gwyneth Paltrow and the band. In the end she got so fed up, she stormed out (sic),” a source said. Earlier in the evening, Lohan had tweeted “I love Coldplay!! W/my sis (sic)”. (PTI)

Pinto researched Planet Of… role online

London: India-born actress Freida Pinto says she spent hours online researching chimpanzees to prepare for her role in recently released movie ‘Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes’. The 26-year-old ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star says she was disappointed after director Rupert Wyatt decided against using real primates in the movie, reported Contactmusic. “I would have loved to spend time with apes but there wasn’t much opportunity. I did spend a lot of time reading about chimps, and also examining (primatologist) Jane Goodall’s interviews and all her YouTube video links, so I did that kind of research (sic),” Pinto said. (PTI)

Kunis fell asleep in intimate scene

LONDON: Actress Mila Kunis says she fell asleep while filming an intimate scene with Justin Timberlake for the movie Friends with Benefits. The 27-year-old says that the pair had to do so many raunchy scenes during filming she eventually became tired and needed to take a nap, reported Contactmusic. “Towards the very end, we were shooting the lovemaking scene at his father’s house. It was like an 18 hour long day and 17 hours into it, I was laying there and he was kissing my back and I was like, ‘I’m just going to close my eyes for a minute. Next thing I know you’re like, ‘OK, we’re done!’ I literally took a nap! (sic),” Kunis said. Timberlake, who plays the male lead in the movie says they had a choice to do the intimate scenes at the beginning or the end of the shoot, and the pair chose to do it at the end because of the amount they had to do. “We wanted to push it to the end because you’re like, ‘Oh man, we’re going to have to do a lot of stuff.’ Some of it made the movie (sic),” he said.
