Lightning kills one, injures two

 KHLIEHRIAT: A coal labourer identified as Rajul Islam Barbhuya (19) of Cachar District, Assam was killed on the spot while two other coal labourers were critically injured when a lightning struck their labour camp at Jalaphet village in East Jaintia hills on Saturday night. Sources said that the three coal labourers were sleeping inside their camp when the lightning struck at around 10 pm. The injured were rushed to Khliehriat CHC and later shifted to a Hospital in Silchar. The deceased was handed over to relatives after a post-mortem examination was conducted.
