SHILLONG: TnT Sputnik CC defeated Riatsamthiah SCC by just seven runs in the Super Division Shillong Cricket League on Friday.
TnT Sputnik won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 106 all out in 32.4 overs.
Sarthak scored 36 off 50 balls, while Rijied Marbaniang bagged three wickets for 11 runs in six overs.
In reply, Riatsamthiah were bundled out for 99 runs in 34.4 overs after at one stage cruising at 60 for no loss.
Shanbok Wankhar scored 36 off 64 balls and Amiangshu took 4-12 in 7.4 overs for the winners.
In the next match, Royal CC will take on Lawmali SCC at 9:00am.
