Grade IV association to hold peace rally

SHILLONG: In order to pressurize the Government to extent the merit list of the qualified candidates who are eligible for appointment to the various posts under Grade IV, East Khasi Hills Qualified and Unemployed Grade IV Association, 2011 would hold a peace rally from Mawkhar to the parking lot near Additional Secretariat on Friday.

The peace rally would start from 11 am followed by a meeting at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Laitumkhrah. Even though DC has not given consent for the peace rally, they decided to proceed citing its peaceful nature.
