Missing man’s body found near city

 SHILLONG: The body of one Coniwell Thabah (36), who went missing along with his new car from Mawkhar recently, was recovered from Umlyngka Mawpun Reserve Forest near the city on Wednesday.

Police suspect that Thabah, who owns a vehicle repair workshop at Mawlai Nongpdeng, was murdered and a case has been registered in this regard.

Thabah, who hails from Sohiong Mawthwan village, was reported missing from Mawkhar on July 12 and on July 15 the car was found abandoned at Lummawbah, Upper Shillong.
