Kohima:The Yaruiwo (president) of NSCN (I-M) Isak Chishi Swu has reite-rated the protracted war was waged ‘to achieve an honourable solution’ and would continue and remin-ded Nagas and others, that the issue of Nagas versus India and Burma(Myanmar) was not a contest of strength but to uphold ‘ the historical rights of the Naga people against belligerent powers.’
In his message on the occasion of the 36th raising day of NSCN at its council headquarters at Hebron, near Dimapur, Swu thanked all those who stood by the Naga people and their cause and asserted that nego-tiations were not only for the advantage of the Nagas but all who were struggling elsewhere.(UNI)
