North East fashion week in Itanagar

Guwahati: The North East India Fashion Week – Itanagar Edition will be held at the Arunachal Pradesh capital town with a three-day programme from April 10, introducing a time of collection made by local weavers .
Bollywood actress and model Tanushree Dutta, Mr Universe 2009 Mahadev Deka, actress Rajni Basumatary were among others, who will walk the ramp at this illustrious fashion extravaganza.
Announcing the Itanagar edition of North East India Fashion Week, fashion designer and CEO of ARL Yana Ngoba said,The North East India Fashion Week’s main objective is to promote and support weavers, designers and craftsmen of the region, and to empower women of Northeast by providing them a networking opportunity and by facilitating buyers for their products.”
At least 30 designers from Northeast and other designers of national repute are expected to present their creations during the three day event.
Ten models from the state and other national and international models will walk the ramp showcasing indigenous designs.Our tribal attire is rich in terms of weaves, colours and patterns, North East India Fashion Week will be a platform where participating designers can showcase their creativity, innovations, individuality and can seek value for their commercial line in the presence of buyers from both the regional and the national market, said noted designer Yana Ngoba.
