SHILLONG: Four domestic cylinders were seized following a raid on commercial establishments at Police Bazar on Saturday.
Despite the ban on use of domestic cylinders for commercial purposes, the Naga Rice Stall at Keatinge road, Mukta Jewellery in Jail Road and a gas stove repairing centre were found violating the restriction.
While two domestic LPG cylinders were seized from Naga Rice Stall, one each was seized from the other two commercial establishments.
Meanwhile, authorities informed that checks will be conducted on a regular basis to ensure that domestic cylinders are not used in commercial establishments.
