SHILLONG: The option of ‘none of the above’, or NOTA, was not available in the electronic voting machines used in the by-polls to the seven District Council seats on Tuesday.
When asked, District Council Affairs Commissioner and Secretary T. Dkhar said the Council election is different from that conducted by the Election Commission. However, the same EVMs were used in the by-polls.
