Shiv Sena assures NESO to vote against CAB

SHILLONG: After the Congress, it is now Shiv Sena that has assured the  North East Students’ Organisation (NESO) that it will go all out to vote against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) if it is brought in the Rajya Sabha

The assurance came from Shiv Sena after a delegation of the North East Students’ Organisation(NESO) comprising of KSU, AASU, GSU, AMSU, TSF, AAPSU, MZP and NSF, met  Uddhav Thackarey,  Chief of Shiv Sena, in Mumbai on Wednesday

The meeting took place as part of the NESO’s  is campaign against the  Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016,

During the meeting, the Shiv Sena Chief assured the delegation that Shiv Sena was against the CAB and would vote against the CAB if it is brought in the Rajya Sabha.

He also said that he shared the concern of the people of North East and on the issue of CAB  even as he assured the delegation that he would also talk to other political parties to seek their support in  opposing the CAB.
