Reshuffle in Meghalaya Police, Claudia Lyngwa new SP of EKH

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Government  has effected a major reshuffle in the state police and now the commandant of the 1^st MLP Battalion,  Claudia Lyngwa will be the new SP of East Khasi  Hills District.

As per the notification issued on Friday, the  incumbent East Khasi Hills SP, Davis Marak has been transferred as the SP (VIS).

The notification also said that M  Kharkrang, Special Superintendent of Police   (SB-I) has been transferred as the assistant Inspector General of Police (R ) while West Khasi Hills SP, GD kharwanlang has been transferred Special Superintendent  (SB-I)

Bobby SW Momin, Superintendent of Police officer,  South West Garo Hills, has been transferred Special Superintendent  (SB-II) while Maxwell B Syiem has been transferred as SP, South West Khasi Hills

Incumbent SP  of South West Khasi Hills, Herbert Lyngdoh  as SP, Economic offence wing, CID  while SP Traffic, BJ laloo will now be the SP of West Khasi Hills

Deputy Commandant of 4^th MLP battalion,  Bikram Marak will be the new SP Traffic of East Khasi Hills  while Vivekananda Singh , Commandant 4^th MLP battalion will be the new SP of East Jaintia Hills

Ri Bhoi SP, Spill Thamar is now transferred as the commandant of the 4^th MLP battalion  while C Syrti commandant, 6^th MLP battalion will be the new SP of Ri Bhoi

Mary Sangma, 2^nd in command, SF 10 is now posted as commandant 6^th MLP battalion  and East Jaintia Hills SP, S Nongtyngner is now the SP of Anti infiltration Directorate

Rituraj Ravi, SP (VIS) has been transferred as the new SP of South West Garo Hills  and Debangshu D Sangma will be the new commandant of 1^st MLP Battalion

Lethindra Sangma, ASP of East Jaintia Hills will now be the  Deputy Commandant, 3^rd MLP Battalion  while Chauenlai Sangma  will be the new ASP of East Jaintia Hills

Kamakhya Prasad, Deputy Commandant 4^th MLP battalion has been transferred as 2^nd in command, 1^st MLP battalion , adding TC Chacko is the new Deputy Commandant of 3^rd MLP battalion

Rangkitbok Tariang will now be the SDPO Amlarem  while Jason Myrom will be the Assistant Commandant , 4^th MLP battalion
