“Heartiest congratulations to Shri Narendrabhai Modi for steering the BJP towards this unprecedented victory in the elections. Shri Amitbhai Shah as the BJP President and all the dedicated workers of the party have put in enormous effort in making sure that the message of BJP reaches every voter of the country.” “May our great nation be blessed with a bright future ahead,” LK Advani said in a statement.

“Spoke to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and the BJP National President Shri @AmitShah over the phone and congratulated them for @BJP4India led NDA’s stupendous victory in these Lok Sabha Elections. This historic victory in the General Elections is the outcome of Modiji’s visionary leadership, Amit Shahji’s dynamism and the hard work of millions of BJP karyakartas on the ground,” said Rajnath Singh.
“I want to congratulate Modiji for the victory of BJP and its allies in the Lok Sabha polls. The people have discarded negative politics of opposition. They have showed that the politics of ‘pariwarwad’, ‘vanshwad’ and ‘jatiwad’ (nepotism and casteism) will not succeed anymore.” “The work done by Modiji for internal security, development of infrastructure and welfare of the people worked,” said Adityanath.
‘‘Congratulations to the winners. But all losers are not losers. We have to do a complete review and then we will share our views with you all. Let the counting process be completed fully and the VVPATs matched,” Mamata Banerjee tweeted.

“We have some setbacks and we find that unfortunately the Congress didn’t perform up to the mark,” senior NCP leader Majeed Memon told a private news channel.
“This is clear mandate for the Modi-led BJP government…Caste combination looks good on paper but merely caste combination does not work. You need a big loud message that opposition did not have,” Swaraj India president and political analyst Yogendra Yadav said.
‘‘Hard work pays.Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president Amit Shah worked very hard…Let me tell you there is no TINA (there in no alternative) factor. Its pro-incumbency votes,” BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma said.
