KJP Synod felicitates meritorious students

NONGSTOIN: The Managing Committee of KJP Synod Higher Secondary School, Nongstoin, on Friday felicitated to 41 meritorious students who cleared their SSLC and HSSLC examinations with flying colours.
Dibelson Lyngkhoi emerged as the topper in the school by securing 83.83 per cent with distinction in mathematics, science, social science and health education.
Fairtenderly was the second topper of the school by securing 82 per cent with distinction in mathematics, Khasi, science, social science and health education.
111 students out of 112 cleared the HSSLC examination. Kareenabel Nongkhlaw was the topper by securing 75.6 per cent with distinction in sociology. The felicitation programmed was attended by Nongstoin MLA Macmillan Byrsat as chief guest in the presence of Apsharai Syiem Vice Chairman of State Development Reform Commission, Rev KP Snaitang Executive Secretary KJP Synod Seongi and others.
Mementos and cash rewards were distributed to the students.
