Marcuise inaugurates meeting hall in Garo Hills

TURA: Williamnagar MLA and Government Chief Whip Marcuise N Marak inaugurated the Manda Mahari meeting hall at scenic Balchol in Bangonggre near Williamnagar under Samanda C&RD Block on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Marak lauded both the former and the present chief ministers, Mukul M Sangma and Conrad K Sangma respectively for their initiatives and contribution towards the construction of this hall.
Deputy Commissioner Swapnil Tembe in his speech stressed on the need to do more towards the hall located at a place from where one can get the panoramic view of Williamnagar town.
Block Development Officer of Samanda Albert G Momin, while speaking about the importance of the hall informed that the government had sanctioned a sum of Rs. 20 lakh for the construction of the hall.
