State govt, SBI sign MoU

SHILLONG: The state government and the State Bank of India (SBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on ‘State Government Salary Package’ (SGSP) at the Main Secretariat on Wednesday.
The MoU on SGSP, which covers 58,000 state government employees, was signed between Finance Secretary, Govt of Meghalaya, PK Agrahari and Deputy General Manager (DGM), SBI, Shillong Module, Subhas Das.
The programme was also attended by the SBI General Manager, Network-1, Digmanu Gupta; Joint secretary, Director Accounts and Treasury; AGM Region-1, Shillong; AGM, PBBU, Guwahati; and AGM, Shillong main branch.
