Entrepreneurship summit tomorrow

SHILLONG: The state government will host the Meghalaya Entrepreneurship & Start Up Summit at State Convention Centre her on Tuesday.
The government aims to make entrepreneurship a preferred career choice for the youth of the state through creation of a dynamic and collaborative ecosystem that enables easy availability of credit, access to technology, skilling and mentoring support and entry to high leverage markets, a release issued here informed.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will be the chief guest for the event and Amitabh Kanth, CEO of NITI Ayog the guest of honour.
The summit is set to witness an impressive line-up of resource persons from various backgrounds besides hosting an Award Ceremony to felicitate the Top 100 entrepreneurs of the state.
It will also showcase performances by local talent from the arts and entertainment industry from across the state
The summit will also witness an expo of stalls by state entrepreneurs as well as from other states showcasing their products and services. It also includes the inauguration of Meghalaya’s first-ever incubation hubs, the PRIME hub in Shillong, the release said.
