Based on the phone call Tripura police with the help of its Haryana counterpart conducted a search operation and rescued the housewife from Mahaveer colony area under HTS police station of Haryana on November 7 last.
According to the report, she had developed an affair with a youth named Raju through missed phone calls a few months back and reportedly showed interest in a job in Siliguri, West Bengal.
Later, she eloped with that youth in a New Delhi bound train from Kumarghat on October 12.
After boarding the train she got to know that instead of Siliguri, she was been taken to Delhi for a better job.
After reaching Delhi, she discovered the real identity of that person whose actual name is Ashrab Ali. She had to stay three nights with him in a Delhi hotel and afterwards the victim was allegedly shifted to Haryana with another person identified as Sukhbindher Gill of Mahaveer colony against payment of Rs one lakh.
Police also arrested Sukhbinder Gill and Pranesh Banik, a brother-in-law of the victim woman, who was also involved in the trafficking.
