Nepa and Matrisangha in Shillong league 2nd division semi-final

SHILLONG: In the Shillong league 2nd division match played between Nepa and Sales XI, Nepa won the match by 94 runs. Nepa winning the toss batted first and scored 233/7 in 20 overs. Upendra Pal scored 47 runs off 15 balls and Subroto Sinha scored 47 runs of 28 balls. Swaroop and Bappan Datta took 2 wickets each. In reply Sales XI scored 139/9 in 20 overs. Bapan Datta scored 36 runs off 26 balls. Manikant Sinha took 3 wickets and Subroto Sinha took 2 wickets. Man of the match award was given to Manikant Sinha of Nepa. In the 2nd match between Cluster CC vs Matrisangha, Matrisangha won the match by 6 wickets. Cluster won the toss and elected to bat and scored 73/10 in 14.2 overs. Rahul Paul scored 22 runs off 22 balls and Abhishek scored 17 runs off 22 balls. Sahil took 3 wickets and Sumit got 2 wickets. In reply Matrisangha scored 76/4 in 9.5 overs. Kishor Bhowmik scored 25 runs off 16 balls and Soumydeep scored 21 runs off 27 balls. Kurshed took 2 wickets and Vishal got 1 wicket. Sahil of Matrisangha was adjudged the man of the match.On Monday, first semi-final between Nepa and Cluster and second semi-final between Sales XI and Matrisangha will be played.
