JYF prez gets anticipatory bail

JOWAI: The District and Session Court, Jowai, on Thursday granted anticipatory bail to JYF president Poipynhun Majaw who has been charged with allegedly demanding money from former JHADC chief MB Rymbai.

Immediately after he was granted the bail, Majaw appeared before the Office In-Charge of Jowai Police Station to record his statement.

While announcing that the hearing on the case will take place on May 25, the Court also asked the police to submit the case diary.
