Interim relief for MCCL staff

SHILLONG: There is a good news for the MCCL employees as the state government has decided to grant an interim relief to staff. The MCCL management has been directed to work out the amount to be released to the employees, who are without salary for last several months.Chief Minister Mukul Sangma told reporters on Tuesday that he had asked the MCCL management to initiate steps to tide over the crisis. A delegation of the MCCL employees association had met Sangma on Monday in this connection.
