Theft
On October 25 at around 5.45 pm, one Bablu Rai stole one cell phone belonging to Mousumi Dhar from Laitumkhrah Presbyterian Church.
On October 23 at around 12.30 am, unknown miscreants stole one Motorcycle (ML-05E-7204) from Police Bazar.
On the night of October 22, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-09A-6556) belonging to Meckenson Marak from his residence at Hawakhana, Tura (West Garo Hills).
Theft/threat
Malli Liam lodged a complaint that on October 23 noon one Nowel Liam along with his accomplice stole ten sacks of unpolished rice from her paddy field near Maitdein village (West Jaintia Hills) and later threatened her with dire consequences.
Truck stolen
On the night of October 23, unknown miscreants stole one Truck (AS-01DC-9555) belonging to Raju Roy from Shillong By-Pass at Mawryngkneng (East Khasi Hills).
House ransacked
A complaint was filed on October 21 that between October 17 and October 21 unknown miscreants broke into the house of D N Shabong at Mawblei, Block-B with an intention to commit theft and ransacked her house.
On the night of October 21, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Varsity Dora Kynjing at Mawblei, Block-B with an attempt to commit theft and ransacked her house.
Assault
On October 25 at around 8.30 pm, residents of Barapathar apprehended and assaulted one Santosh Biswa (35 years) for creating nuisance in the locality. Later, he was handed over to Police and was admitted at Civil Hospital, Shillong.
Stones pelted
On October 24 at about 4 pm, suspected KSU members in a Maruti Gypsy (ML-05L-4545) pelted stones at one dumper truck (ML-07B-2204) belonging to M/s BSC C&C JV Company near Myriem village (South West Khasi Hills). As a result, front windshield of the dumper truck was damaged.
