Danggo appeals abductors to release Syiemlieh

SHILLONG: Ranikor legislator Martin .M. Danggo has appealed to the abductors of Dinar Syiemlieh to release him unharmed.
In a statement issued to the media on Wednesday, Danggo stressed that people of both Khasi and Garo areas should live in peace.
Earlier, the pressure groups from Khasi Hills had pointed that those involved in the abduction were Garo militants.
Danggo took up the issue with the state government for deployment of additional forces.
