SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Tuesday admitted that the Congress party had toppled the MPA government as they were not competent enough to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
The chief minister was reacting to a query on whether the NDA Government would attempt to topple the Congress government in Meghalaya as it had done in case of Arunachal Pradesh.
He admitted that the BJP government would topple the government in Meghalaya if they get a chance.
According to Sangma, the MPA government had de-sanctioned several developmental programmes as there were no funds even as he added that many power projects were also cancelled by the MPA government.
Slamming the Arunachal Pradesh Governor, Sangma said the   events which transpired in Arunachal Pradesh were in complete violation of the Constitution and has set a bad and dangerous precedence.
