SHILLONG:  The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has nominated senior state police officer, Claudia Lyngwa into IPS cadre. Official sources on Wednesday informed that the MHA issued the notification in this connection on October 25 last.Lyngwa is currently holding the post of Senior Superintendent of Police (CID).  It may also be mentioned that Lyngwa belongs to the 1996 batch of the Meghalaya Police Service (MPS).When contacted, Claudia Lyngwa expressed her happiness at being nominated as an IPS officer.
