SHILLONG: Riatsamthiah won by 6 wickets against MLP in the second Singhania T-20 Tournament played here on Monday. MLP elected to bat first and scored 107/9 in 20 overs. Kumar Sewa scored 22 runs off 26 balls and Deepak Thapa scored 23 runs off 27 balls for MLP. For Riatsamthiah, Prolin Phanjoy took two wickets for 20 runs in three overs and Basu Chettri bagged three wickets for 18 runs in four overs. In reply, Riatsamthiah scored 110/4 in 17 overs. Dathew Syngkon top scored with 32 runs off 30 balls and Banpynshngain Dollai scored 23 runs off 15 balls. Gautam Chettri claimed two wickets for 23 runs in three overs for MLP. Meanwhile, the second match of the day was tied between Malki and United XI. Malki elected to bat first and were bundled out for 117 runs in 19.3 overs. Rohit top scored with 72 runs for Malki. Rajendra G.C took three wickets for 16 runs in 3.3overs, whileAndrew B. Thabah took four wickets for 17 runs in four over’s for United XI. In reply, United XI could manage to score 117/7 in their allotted 20 overs. For United XI, Jason Lamare scored 20 runs off 25 balls and Andrew B. Thabah scored 21 runs off 25 balls. Rohit and Sanjay claimed two wickets each for Malki.
