The Dorbar Shnong Jaiaw Langsning held on June 10 elected Erland R Sun as the headman, BS Rumnong as assistant headman and Eldie Newton Lyngdoh as secretary besides other members.
The People’s Welfare & Economic Emancipation Organisation elected Brake Khriam as president, Drola Khongjoh and Ryngkatbor Kharumniud as vice presidents, Mawlein Shai Nongdhar as general secretary. The next general meeting of the organisation will be held at Smit on July 17 in the residence of Wanda Mawthoh.
