SHILLONG: Inspector S.S. Negi, Company Commander, 141 Bn/BSF, Rongara BOP in South Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on July 28 at 11 pm, BSF personnel namely Ct. Rikesh Kumar fatally shot his colleague Ct/Dvr Dewan Nath with his service weapon (5.56 mm INSAS rifle) while the victim was sleeping at Nadankol BSF BOP (SGH).
During search, one live and two empty 5.56mm ammunition were recovered from the PO.
