TURA: The DC (Election), West Garo Hills Tura has informed that the Draft Publication of Photo Electoral Rolls for Assembly Constituencies of Phulbari,Rajabala, Selsella , North Tura, South Tura , Rangsakhona , Gambegre and Dalu constituencies under the district has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2019 as the qualifying date.
According to the notification, the photo electoral roll was prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electoral Rules, 1960 and a copy of it is available for inspection at the office of DC and at each polling station.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the photo electoral roll is January 1,2019. The notification further stated that if there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the photo electoral roll or any objections to the inclusion of names or any objections to particulars in any entries, it should be lodged between the period of 01-09-2018 to 31-10-2018 in Form 6, 6A, 7, 8 and 8A as may be appropriate.
