Teacher, 3 students electrocuted in Pakistan

Islamabad, Sep 18 (IANS) A teacher and three students were electrocuted at a private school in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, the police said.

The incident occurred during morning assembly at a school in Mansehra city. The four were hoisting the national flag when its iron pipe came in contact with an electric wire suspended above the ground, the Daily Times reported.

Another teacher and a security guard were injured as they tried to save the victims.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
