Guwahati: The Autumn session of the Assam Assembly was adjourned sine-die Friday, officials said.
The session which began on September 24 was adjourned sine-die at the conclusion of its sitting on Friday, they said.
During the session Supplementary Demand for Grants and Supplementary Appropriation for the year, 2018-2019 and several government bills, including the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2018 were passed by the House.
BJP MLA Kripanath Mallah was elected the new Deputy Speaker during the session. (PTI)
