SHILLONG: The University of Science and Technology (USTM) Meghalaya has decided to include the Khasi subject for Diploma Course, Master Degree and PhD from 2019.
This was decided after a discussion following the demand of the Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC) to include Khasi as a subject in the University.
The organisation believes inclusion of Khasi subject will enrich the culture and language.
