Khartoum: Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok embarked on a six-day visit to the US, official SUNA news agency reported.
Hamdok, who left Khartoum for an official US trip on Saturday, is scheduled to hold talks with US officials over bilateral cooperation, Xinhua reported, citing SUNA.
Sudan’s Finance Minister Ibrahim Elbadawi said Hamdok will also meet World Bank chief and Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to review lifting the sanctions imposed on Sudan. (IANS)
