Programme
The State Council of Science, Technology and Environment (SCSTE) will hold a programme to celebrate National Science Day on March 2 at All Saint’s Cathedral Hall from 10:30 am. According to a statement, the Director of Higher and Technical Education will attend the programme as the chief guest. The students securing highest marks in Science and Mathematics in the MBoSE SSLC and HSSLC 2020 examinations will also be felicitated.
Condolence
Members of Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan (Shillong Branch) have condoled the demise of retired IAS Pritish Ch Chakraborty, who breathed his last on February 21. According to a statement on Saturday, a condolence meeting was also held recently where the members of the body recalled Chakraborty’s contributions towards the development of the literary and cultural organisation and its heritage in Shillong.

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Meghalaya Regional Office will hold the State Credit Seminar on March 1 at Pinewood Hotel, Shillong, from 11.30 am.
