Robbery
On May 18, police detained one Max Eric Syiemlieh (22) for robbing Rs 2,000 from Shri Ukil Rai (43) at Demseiniong, Shillong.

Vandalisation
Chief Manager, SBI Laitumkhrah Branch, lodged a complaint that on May 18 night, unknown miscreants vandalised the ATM located at SBI Laitumkhrah Branch. However, they failed to open the vault containing cash.

Break-in
On May 15 around 7.30 am, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the house of one Sankar Das at Upper Jail Road, Shillong, and stole his mobile phone and Rs 1,000 in cash.

Theft
Dr Beatrice Warjri, Medical Officer i/c Nongthymmai UPHC, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on May 18 night, unknown miscreants broke into the UPHC and stole one HP laptop and two Lenovo tablets.
Firstlanson Thongni (21) lodged a complaint that on May 15, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (AS-25N-1446) from a parking lot near PWD Office, Nongstoiñ, West Khasi Hills. In this connection, police arrested one Pyndaplang Marngar (23).
Arun Kumar informed police that on May 12, unknown miscreant(s) stole one LPG cylinder, inverter and battery, total valued around Rs 35,000, from his quarter at MES Shillong under Rynjah PS.
On May 14 around 4.45 pm, two unknown miscreants entered inside the shop belonging to the daughter of Raghubir Rai at Pynthorumkhrah, Shillong, and stole her purse containing SBI cards, Rs 250 in cash, keys, etc.
