Super Div Cricket: NFU thrash Nongthymmai by 71 runs

Shillong, Feb 11: NFU beat Nongthymmai by 71 runs in the Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match here on Friday. Put in to bat first, NFU scored 213/6 in 40 overs. Ayushman Das (66 runs in 66 balls) and Kalyan Bhattacharjee (34 runs in 44 balls) top scored for NFU. Raja Lama (2/47) and Sukhdev Singh Nahar (2/48) were the pick of the bowlers for Nongthymmai. In reply, Nongthymmai were bowled out for 142 in 33.4 overs before. Kishley Vishluk (31 runs off 70 balls) top scored for Nongthymmai. Joe Wanlanphi (2/20) and Raj Biswa (1/26) were the pick of the bowlers for NFU. Ayushman was adjudged the Player of the Match for his performance with bat.
