Shillong, Feb 4: The NPP candidate Ransom Sutnga who filed nomination to contest from North Shillong LAC has denied any anti-incumbency factor working against the NPP in urban areas.

He said there may be an anti-incumbency against the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government and all parties, not only NPP, that were also part of the alliance.

He also said that the BJP wave in North Shillong constituency was moderate now, unlike before the assembly polls of 2018.
