SHILLONG, June 12: A review meeting was held by South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai with the officials of the Traffic Police and municipal board regarding the installation of solar street light, regulation of traffic, ongoing implementation of Smart City project and installation of CCTV cameras in different localities.
Shullai requested the officials and Dorbar Shnongs to coordinate with one other and ensure that the traffic congestion in various localities within South Shillong is resolved and thoroughly check for double parking, and parking in wrong places, embarkment and disembarkment points. He said that 265 solar street lights will be installed in various localities in the constituency.
