Youth electrocuted on treadmill at Delhi gym, one apprehended

Shillong, July 20: A tragic incident occurred at a gym in Delhi’s Rohini area, where a 24-year-old youth, identified as Saksham, died after being electrocuted while using a treadmill. The victim was a resident of Sector-19, Rohini.

Police received information about the youth’s death from the BSA Hospital on Wednesday. Upon reaching the hospital, it was revealed that the victim was brought in an unconscious state from a gym in Sector 15, Rohini.

Initial investigations suggest that the cause of death was electrocution while using the treadmill. Post-mortem has been conducted, and a case under section 287/304A of the IPC has been registered at the KNK Marg police station. During the investigation, one person has been apprehended in connection with the case.
