A car thief, Phrairistar Mawtyllup alias Phantom, with a tin container tied around his neck is taken in a procession after a stolen car was recovered from his possession, at Nongstoin in West Khasi Hills on Wednesday. The Nongstoin Regional Local Taxi Owner & Driver Association has demanded transfer of the West Khasi Hills SP for his alleged failure to send alert to the various police check posts in the district about the car theft.
