A symbolic demonstration by students of various schools depits the ten major rivers of Garo Hills at SMELC, Dakopgre, Tura. A mass awareness programme on water conservation and preservation themed ‘Save Water Save Earth’ was organised by Central Soil & Materials Station, Delhi, Ministry of Water Resources in collaboration with Department of Water Resources, Government of Meghalaya and Meghalaya Water resources Development Agency.
