Portfolios alloted to Lal Thanzara

Aizawl: Lal Thanzara, who was inducted as cabinet minister in the Mizoram council of ministers led by chief minister Lal Thanhawla on Tuesday was allotted the portfolios of Health, Information and Communication Technology, Information and Public Relation departments on Wednesday.
The notification on the allocation of portfolios to the younger brother of the chief minister was issued by state chief secretary Lalmalsawma this evening.
Lal Thanzara, who resigned as minister of state and legislator on August 18 last over allegation of ‘conflict of interests’ was re-elected from his home turf, in the by-poll to the Aizawl North-III seat held on November 21.
Earlier, he was holding independent charge of health, minor irrigation and information and communication technology while assisting Lal Thanhawla in all the latter’s portfolios. (PTI)
