Women’s Day

The Khasi Cultural & Social Service Society (KCSSS) will celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 at Indoor Sports Complex, Mawlai Mawdakbaki adjacent to Shillong Polytechnic from 11 am to 1 pm. The KCSSS informed that the event aims at sensitizing the masses about women’s rights. The organisers have urged women from all walks of life to participate in the programme. Meanwhile, a programme to commemorate International Women’s Day was organised by the Terapanth Mahila Mandal at Oakland Community Hall.
