Roy asks educated youths to join politics

SHILLONG: UDP leader Donkupar Roy, who is looking forward to a change in the 2017 political arena, said on Saturday the move for a pre-poll alliance was in the right direction and hoped that things would be clear by the middle of 2017.
Speaking to The Shillong Times on the eve of New Year, Roy said the UDP will continue its efforts to have a pre-poll alliance.
The former chief minister also urged the educated youths of the State to come into politics to effect the much needed change from the existing money game.
