Govt on high alert after H1N1 cases

SHILLONG: After two women were detected with swine flu, the state government is on high alert to ensure that the virus does not spread.
Talking to media persons here on Saturday, Health Minister AL Hek that the Airports Authority of India in Guwahati and Umroi have been informed to take precautions.
The state officials have also been alerted to prevent any outbreak of the H1N1 virus. The two women were admitted in a city hospital and tested positive for swine flu (H1N1) virus.
Hek said both the women are undergoing treatment in the city.
