Talking to media persons after the meeting, Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma said that all the alliance partners expressed their views on the elections and  all of them said that they would like to go back to their parent party and discuss about it.

Refusing to divulge much about the plans, the Chief Minister said that alliance would discuss the matter in their respective party in detail and get back to the alliance. He also said that different individuals and parties expressed their opinions on the polls

The meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) Government which is held once in  every month also discussed if there was any concern or difficulty of the partners and improve the coordination and communication between the partners.
