SHILLONG: The Inclusive football Tournament Finals will be held on July 20 at Umtryanga Village Football Field. Considering the increasing cases of gender discrimination happening around, volunteers at We Are Young Foundation has co-conceptualised a volunteer driven project called Inclusive football for Gender and Peace which aims to lay emphasis on breaking gender stereotypes, starting from small and distant communities in the states of Assam and Meghalaya. Since the intervention of the project in Mawiong and Pillingkata in Umling- Meghalaya and (Marangabari) Sonapur-Assam, the organization have worked with more than 100+boys and girls and outreached to 500+ community members.
