TURA: The Tura Christian College (TCC), an educational project of the Garo Baptist (GB) Association No IV, recently organised a one-day special programme for staff, students and GB members with Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) officials at its office premises.
During the programme, APBF General Secretary Rev Dr Vesekhoyi Tetseo from Japan gave a challenging message to the students to focus so as to achieve their aim in life. He also exhorted teachers and students to expand their horizon and hope that the TCC will be a beacon of hope and bring difference in the life of the students in the overall development of Garo Hills and beyond.
Vice President of APBF and Executive Director of Haggai Institute Bijoy Sangma delivered a motivational talk on the topic ‘Unconventional Thinking, Moving to the Top’.
He concluded by saying, “Great people are ordinary people with extraordinary determination”, asking the students if they were determined to achieve their goals.
