Cops to probe illegal coal mining

SHILLONG: East Jaintia Hills police is verifying the reports about illegal coal mining and transportation taking place in the district.
District SP Vivekanand Singh has been asked to direct District Task Force and Flying Squads to take action.
OC Saipung has been directed to cause enquiry and take appropriate legal action.
