TURA: The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has directed all LPG agencies under West Garo Hills not to supply 14.2 Kg capacity cylinders for commercial purposes as well as to acquire sufficient stock of 19 kg capacity cylinders in their respective agencies.

The directive comes following reports of some business establishments like hotels, restaurants, fast food counters etc using domestic 14.2 kg capacity cylinders in place of the 19 kg capacity cylinders thereby creating shortages of domestic cylinders.

The order issued on Tuesday added that failure to comply with the order would be viewed seriously and appropriate action taken under relevant rules.
