SHILLONG: The North Eastern Council (NEC), a regional planning body for the North Eastern States on Friday released Rs 3 crore to Meghalaya for combatting COVID-19 in the state, an official said.
The Council released the amount to Meghalaya following a video interaction between the Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Dr. Jitendra Singh and DoNER and NEC officials.
